Hmm... well this started off as a boredom tribal tattoo design but as I was listening to my music it seemed to develop into a sword with a demon fashioned hilt... damn you metal . Near the end, the idea was that the blade is actually the tongue of the demon, coming inbetween it's fangs... BTW, please full view to see it better the normal view looks crap.
I may get this as a tattoo one day, lol, it depends how close the tattoo parlour is to the pub I'll be drunk at

I'd be flattered if anybody recreated the design, but I think it's a bit too plain for a real sword

The backwards-facing spikes would catch in the body and prevent the sword from withdrawing.
